Due to legacy component sourcing issues, the
Multi-Code Brand Model 4100-05 and Model
4100-15 Wired Keypads are no longer able to
be manufactured and have been discontinued
from the product line. Back orders will not be
filled.
Following are three alternate solutions for
applications requiring keypad access:
In garage door operator applications, an
alternative for these products is the Model
MDTK Keypad Transmitter used in conjunction
with the Model MRD-U 1- Channel Plug-in
Receiver. The MDTK keypad sends a wireless
signal to the MDR-U receiver, which provides
a relay output that can be used to trigger the
operator.
Another option for garage door operator
applications is the Multi-Code Model 4200-01
Keypad Transmitter. This transmitter sends a
wireless signal in the Multi-Code format that
can be received by an existing Multi-Code
receiver on the operator, or by adding a Model
1090-20 1-Channel Receiver.
In gate operator applications, an alternative
for these products is the Model AK-1 Exterior
Digital Keypad. The AK-1 is a hardwired digital
keyless entry system with a relay output
designed for access control applications. The
keypad is housed in a rugged cast aluminum
enclosure that can be mounted to a pedestal
or bolted directly to a wall.
